2 die from snakebite in UP

A man and a woman died from snakebite in separate incidents in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Janardan Rajbhar (30), who died in Ubhav area on Tuesday evening, and Sharda Devi (44).

Sharda Devi's family alleged that she did not get timely treatment as there was no doctor when they took her to a primary health centre.
