UK PM May's spokesman says she would fight any attempt to oust her

LONDON, Sept 12 (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Theresa May would fight any attempt by her lawmakers to oust her, her spokesman said on Wednesday.

The BBC reported about 50 lawmakers from the European Research Group (ERG), a grouping in May's Conservative Party which wants a sharper break with the EU, met on Tuesday night and openly discussed May's future.
