13 Rajasthan cops to receive DGP Commendation Disc

The Rajasthan Police will honour 13 personnel with the DGP Commendation Disc for their special efforts in areas including sports, training and administration, an official said on Monday.

IPS officers Saurabh Srivastava (retired on April 30), A Ponnuchamy, Lata Manoj Kumar, Alok Kumar Vashistha, Preeti Jain, CID (IB) Inspector Tribhuvan Kumar Vashistha are a few of the awardees, the official said. Making the announcement last week, Rajasthan DGP Umesh Mishra said these officers made special contributions towards the improvement of sports, training, general administration, welfare and supervision activities in their respective capacities.

Another recipient Tribhuvan Kumar Vashistha, posted at PHQ Jaipur, is the recipient of the President's Police Medal (2017), Uttam Seva Medal, Ati Uttam Seva Medal, Sarvottam Seva Medal and Union Home Minister's Ati Utkrisht Seva Medal (2021).
