U.S. trying to validate Russian allegation of Ukrainian drone attack on Kremlin

The United States is trying to validate Moscow's charge that Ukraine unsuccessfully tried to kill Russian President Vladimir Putin with a drone attack on his Kremlin residence, a U.S. official said on Wednesday.

"We are still trying to validate this information," said the U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity. "If there was anything, there was no warning."
