Woman arrested for possessing 70 grams of heroin from Champhai

Mizoram Excise and Narcotics department officials seized 70 gram of heroin from Champhai town bordering Myanmar, an official said Tuesday.
A woman was arrested for allegedly possessing drug valued at Rs 2.50 lakh on Monday night, department spokesman Peter Zohmingthanga said.
Booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, she was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days.
