S.Africa defence dept will give its side of story to enquiry into Russian ship

South Africa's defence department said on Friday that it noted President Cyril Ramaphosa's decision to launch an inquiry into the docking of a Russian ship in Cape Town last December and it would give its side of the story to the enquiry.

"The enquiry will offer the department an opportunity to ventilate its side of the story with concrete evidence, and deal with allegations surrounding the purpose of such a visit," it said in a statement.
