DeSantis: we need the Fed to focus on a stable dollar

U.S. presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis said on Wednesday the Federal Reserve should focus on maintaining a stable dollar and not be the "economic central planner."

"We also need a Federal Reserve that's going to focus on maintaining a stable dollar, they should not be the economic central planner for our country. They're not accountable, elected by anybody, and yet their printing of money has really thrust us into this," DeSantis told Fox News during a discussion on inflation.
