Nagpur: Retired journalist found dead in well

A 72-year-old retired journalist was found dead in a well on the premises of his house here on Thursday with police suspecting it to be a case of suicide.

Arun Phanshikar, resident of Giripeth area, was missing since morning, according to his family members.

His body was found in the well in the afternoon and preliminary investigation suggested that he died by suicide, said a police official.

Phanshikar, who was a bachelor, had worked for the Indian Express and Hindustan Times.
