German network regulator welcomes winter preparation resolutions

Klaus Mueller, the head of Germany's network regulator, on Tuesday, welcomed resolutions passed by its advisory council calling for preparations for the coming winter. Mueller referred to the resolutions as "important", saying on Twitter that they would ensure "planning for the security of supply with an exercise, scenarios, savings potentials and the digitalisation of our crisis management."

The nine-point plan calls on the regulator to reach out to German states that are interested in participating in a crisis exercise in September, according to a document shared by Mueller.
