Mexico urges neighbors to avoid measures snarling trade at U.S.-Mexico border

Mexico urged local leaders in the region to avoid what it called "unilateral measures," as they complicate exchange at the border with the United States, the country's foreign ministry said on Thursday, following some crossing shutdowns by U.S. authorities.

U.S. authorities recently closed off some crossings to shift Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers to process an increase of migrants arriving at the border.
