Spanish Socialists submit amnesty bill to lower house

Spain's Socialist Party submitted to parliament on Monday a legislative proposal to grant amnesty to those involved in Catalonia's failed independence bid - a key condition for Catalan separatists' support for a new leftist government, a party source told Reuters.

Socialist acting Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez will seek another term in a parliamentary investiture vote on Thursday.
