Russia's air defence systems destroyed a Ukraine-launched drone heading towards Moscow, the mayor of the Russian capital said early on Sunday.
"Preliminarily, there is no damage or casualties as a result of falling debris," Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on the Telegram messaging app. "Emergency services are on the scene."
The drone was destroyed in Bogorodskoye, Sobyanin said, which is on the northeast outskirts of Moscow.
