Five killed in truck-SUV collision in MP

Five persons were killed and another one injured when their SUV collided with a truck on the Agra-Mumbai highway near Barrufatak area in Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh, the police said Saturday.
The incident occurred late night on Friday under Theekri police station limits when the driver of the SUV, which was headed to Shirdi in Maharashtra, apparently lost his control over the vehicle.
"The SUV hit a road divider and landed in the opposite lane before colliding with a truck," said Theekri police station in-charge Vijay Sisodia.
The injured person has been shifted to Indore for treatment, he said.
The deceased have been identified as Sudeep Rai (26), Prakash Pargi (32), Santosh Pargi (40), Prakash Sisodia (28) and Haridas Bairagi (34), he said, adding that they belonged to Sailana town in Ratlam district.
