Algeria expresses regret after Mali ends internal peace agreement

Algeria expressed on Friday regret and concern after the Malian authorities terminated a 2015 peace and reconciliation agreement within Mali, a statement issued by the foreign ministry said.

Algeria, which shares a more-than 1,300 km border with Mali, said the termination of the agreement could put at risk the entire region as it faces terrorist threats.
