Colombia recalls ambassador to Argentina over 'disrespectful' Milei statements

Colombia on Friday recalled its ambassador to Argentina for consultations following "disrespectful and irresponsible" statements from the Argentine president, Javier Milei.

"President Milei's words ignore and violate the deep ties of friendship, understanding and cooperation that have historically united Colombia and Argentina," Colombia's foreign ministry said in a statement.
