BoE's Bailey: June interest rate change neither ruled out nor a fait accompli

A change in the Bank of England's main interest rate in June can neither be ruled out, nor considered a fait accompli, BoE Governor Andrew Bailey told a press conference on Thursday after the bank kept interest rates on hold at 5.25%.

"Let me be clear, a change in Bank Rate in June is neither ruled out nor a fait accompli," Bailey said.
