Spain Recalls Ambassador Over Argentine President's Comments

Madrid has permanently recalled its ambassador in Buenos Aires, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said on Tuesday, further escalating a row over derogatory comments made by Argentine President Javier Milei in Madrid.

Albares added that the embassy in Argentina would from now on be headed by the charge d'affaires.
