Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov claims the United States is covertly trying to undermine the BRICS group of emerging economies. Washington reportedly dislikes the coalition formed by Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa due to its lack of control over it.

The United States is trying to covertly undermine the BRICS group of major emerging economies, the TASS news agency cited Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov as saying on Wednesday.

Ryabkov said Washington disliked the grouping created by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa because it could not control it.
