Operation Hope: Rescuing Child Labourers in Noida

In an impactful mission, Gautam Buddh Nagar Police’s Anti-Human Trafficking Unit rescued 14 children from child labour. Partnering with NGOs and local authorities, they targeted various establishments in Noida. Authorities are focused on educating rescued children and their parents about the value of education, ensuring a better future for these young lives.

In a strategic operation focused on eradicating child labour, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Gautam Buddh Nagar Police successfully rescued 14 children on Saturday.

An official statement revealed that the operation targeted minors under 18 years. Conducted in collaboration with the NGOs Care For You and Rising Together India, as well as the DPO office and Child Line Noida, the raids took place in Noida's Sector-82, Sector-110, and Gejha Sector-93.

Various establishments known for employing child labour, including hotels, roadside eateries, and furniture shops, were scrutinized. As a result, 14 children were liberated from these practices. Efforts are now underway to educate both the rescued children and their parents on the importance of education, discouraging child labour.

The police, alongside associated organizations, have committed to providing free education to these children to cultivate responsible citizenship and contribute positively to the nation's growth.
