Delhi Vote Counting Day: Tight Security and High Stakes

Ahead of the counting of over 89.21 lakh votes, scheduled to begin at 8 am, Delhi authorities have implemented a three-tier security arrangement at the counting centers. A total of 7,000 personnel have been deployed to ensure smooth proceedings.

'We have made all the necessary arrangements for the counting tomorrow,' stated Delhi Chief Electoral Officer P. Krishnamurthy. He confirmed the readiness of the trained manpower and the three-tier security setup.

Digital monitors and microphone announcements will disseminate trend updates. The counting will occur in 21 to 28 rounds, depending on the constituency, with New Delhi expected to conclude first. Strict security measures, including CCTV surveillance and drone monitoring, will be in place.
