In a tragic incident on Saturday, a truck collision claimed the lives of two individuals, including a police head constable, in Narthua village. According to police reports, the incident occurred when a truck collided with an autorickshaw carrying six passengers.
Station House Officer (SHO) Sachinda Nand Pandey identified the deceased as traffic head constable Manish Yadav, 39, and Dheeraj Saroj. Four others who were traveling in the autorickshaw sustained injuries and were promptly rushed to the hospital for treatment.
The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident. Authorities have sent the bodies for postmortem examinations and have launched an investigation into the incident.
