The dismissed individuals include Constables Abdul Rehman Dar and Ghulam Rasool Bhat, teacher Shabir Ahmad, and Anayatullah Shah Pirzada, an assistant lineman in the Jal Shakti department. They were removed from their positions under Article 311 of the Constitution.

Official statements from Lt Governor Manoj Sinha's office indicated that the decision was taken in the interest of the state's security, based on sufficient information that deemed inquiries unnecessary.
