Rs 16 Crore Worth Charas Found Abandoned on Gujarat Seashore

Thirty packets of charas, valued at Rs 16 crore, were discovered abandoned on the seashore in Gujarat's Devbhumi Dwarka district. Police found the contraband during a routine patrol and confirmed its content and value with forensic experts. An FIR has been registered, and the incident is under investigation.

In a shocking discovery on the seashore of Devbhumi Dwarka district, Gujarat, local police found 30 packets of charas worth Rs 16 crore.

Superintendent of Police Nitesh Pandey revealed that personnel from the local police and special operations group came across three plastic sacks during a night patrol near Varvala. Forensic experts later confirmed the contents were 32 kg of charas.

The police have filed an FIR under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Investigations are currently ongoing to determine how the contraband ended up on the shore, with initial theories suggesting it washed in from the deep sea.
