In a harrowing development, Gaza's Health Ministry confirmed that at least 274 Palestinians lost their lives in an extensive Israeli air and ground raid. This operation, conducted on Saturday, wounded approximately 700 individuals.

The raid, which penetrated deep into central Gaza, was the most significant rescue mission since October 7. On that day, Hamas and other militants crossed the border, resulting in the death of about 1,200 people and the abduction of roughly 250 hostages.

Israel's sizeable offensive has subsequently claimed over 36,700 Palestinian lives, as per local health authorities. However, amidst the conflict, Israelis rejoiced upon the return of hostages Noa Argamani, 26; Almog Meir Jan, 22; Andrey Kozlov, 27; and Shlomi Ziv, 41, following Israeli forces' audacious raid on two locations under heavy fire.
