Woman Arrested for Killing Husband Amid Extramarital Affair

A woman was apprehended by the police for allegedly killing her 35-year-old husband in a village in Bundi district. The deceased, Rajendra Gurjar, was found with fatal injuries. Further investigation revealed that the motive behind the crime stemmed from the woman's extramarital relationship.

A tragic incident unfolded in a village under the jurisdiction of Dablana police station in Bundi district, where a woman was apprehended on Sunday for allegedly murdering her 35-year-old husband. The victim, identified as Rajendra Gurjar, was discovered with severe injuries inflicted by a sharp weapon.

According to Circle Inspector Manoj Sikarwal, the accused, Mamta, aged 32, attempted to stage the crime as a robbery by removing golden earrings from the body and scattering household items. Initially, the police registered a case of murder against unknown persons.

Upon further investigation, the focus shifted to Mamta. Intense interrogation led to her confession of the crime, driven by an extramarital relationship with a man from a nearby village, which had caused frequent disputes between the couple.
