Terror Strikes on Pilgrim Bus in Jammu and Kashmir

A terror attack on a pilgrim bus in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district killed nine and injured several others. An NIA team has been dispatched to assist local police, and a massive search operation is underway to find the perpetrators.

A National Investigation Agency (NIA) team has arrived in Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir, to assist local police investigating a terror attack on a passenger bus. The incident left nine people dead and several injured, including children, officials confirmed on Monday.

In response, security forces have launched a large-scale cordon and search operation to apprehend those responsible for the deadly ambush.

Terrorists fired at the 53-seater bus, which subsequently fell into a deep gorge near Teryath village. The bus was transporting pilgrims between the Shiv Khori temple and Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, with most of the killed or injured hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi.
