The chaos ensued when Dheeraj, who was operating a bulldozer from Hapur, lashed out at the toll staff. He used the bulldozer's ripper to destroy two cabins, forcing the workers to flee for their lives. A video of the incident quickly surfaced on social media, drawing widespread attention.

Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma stated that Dheeraj attempted to hurt people during his destructive spree. Immediate action was taken by law enforcement, leading to Dheeraj's arrest and the seizure of the bulldozer. Charges have been levied against him under various offenses, including the Goonda Act.
