The Prosecutor General's office disclosed that the indictment against Gershkovich has been completed and submitted to the Sverdlovsky Regional Court in the Ural Mountains. The journalist stands accused of collecting classified information regarding a facility involved in the production and repair of military equipment in the Sverdlovsk region.

Law enforcement officials have yet to present any evidence supporting these serious allegations.
