Indian Army Neutralizes Two Lashkar-e-Taiba Terrorists in Baramulla

The Indian Army confirmed the elimination of two Pakistani-origin Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. Usman and Umar were killed during a counter-terrorism operation. The encounter resulted in injuries to two security personnel. Significant quantities of weapons were recovered, marking a major success for the security forces.

The Indian Army announced on Thursday the elimination of two Pakistani-origin terrorists affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in an encounter in Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir.

Commander 7 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, Brigadier Deepak Mohan, identified the slain terrorists as Usman and Umar, both active members of LeT, during a press briefing in Rafiabad.

The encounter, which resulted in injuries to two security personnel, unfolded in Watergam area upon receiving intelligence about the terrorists' presence. The operation revealed significant quantities of weapons and ammunition, contributing to the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
