Mystery Surrounds Discovery of Woman's Body in Water Tanker

A 25-year-old woman, Kaushalya Chavan, was found dead in a water tanker in Hadapsar area. Discovered by water supplier Purushottam Sasane, the autopsy confirmed drowning. No arrests have been made yet.

The tranquil routine of a Hadapsar resident was shattered on Thursday morning when the body of 25-year-old Kaushalya Chavan was discovered inside a water tanker. The grim discovery was made by Purushottam Sasane, a local water supplier, who found the corpse when he climbed atop the tanker after noticing a low outflow of water.

According to police, Chavan had left her home in Handewadi locality hours earlier. An autopsy determined drowning as the cause of death, adding a sinister layer to what was initially a morning of routine work for Sasane.

With an ongoing investigation and no arrests made, the mysterious circumstances surrounding Chavan's death have left the Hadapsar community in shock, raising many unanswered questions.
