In a tragic incident, a 25-year-old man, Amardeep Bhagat, was shot dead near a law college in Dhanbad, Jharkhand on Friday, according to police reports.
The attack occurred in the early morning hours at Law College Telepara, where local residents discovered Bhagat lying in a pool of blood around 5:30 AM. He was urgently transported to Sahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital (SNMMCH).
Dr. Dinesh Kumar Gandauria, the emergency ward in-charge at SNMMCH, confirmed Bhagat was still breathing upon arrival but succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Deputy Superintendent of Police Dipak Kumar stated that an investigation is underway, exploring several angles including the potential of a love affair connection.
