21-Year-Old Woman Tragically Found Raped and Murdered in Bapatla District

A 21-year-old woman was discovered raped and murdered near a railway track in Epurupalem village, Bapatla district. She went missing while attending nature’s call early Friday morning. Police suspect rape prior to the murder and have formed five teams to investigate.

A tragic incident unfolded in Bapatla district as a 21-year-old woman was allegedly found raped and murdered on Friday morning, authorities revealed.

The body was discovered lying near a railway track in the Sitarampuram area of Epurupalem village.

According to Bapatla District Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal, the victim had gone out between 5:30 am and 5:45 am to attend nature’s call but did not return home, leading her family to search for her. They eventually found her dead.

SP Jindal conducted an inquiry at the scene and indicated that initial suspicions point towards rape before the murder. A case has been registered and five police teams have been assembled to investigate this grievous crime.
