Kannada Actor Darshan Remanded in Renukaswamy Murder Case

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been remanded to judicial custody until July 4 in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case. Along with Darshan, his alleged accomplices have also been remanded. Police sources reveal the motive behind the murder was obscene messages sent to Darshan's friend Pavithra Gowda.

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been remanded to judicial custody until July 4 in the Renukaswamy murder case. The decision was made at a court hearing on Saturday.

Alongside Darshan, his alleged accomplices Vinay, Pradosh, and Dhanaraj have also been sent to judicial custody. The actor had been in police custody since June 11, following the discovery of Renukaswamy's body.

Renukaswamy, an ardent fan of Darshan, was found dead near a stormwater drain on June 9. Police sources stated that the murder was allegedly triggered by obscene messages Renukaswamy had sent to Pavithra Gowda, Darshan's friend.
