Tragic Road Accident Claims Life of Indian Soldier on Leave in Himachal

A 37-year-old serving soldier, Suresh Kumar, met a tragic end in Himachal's Hamirpur district due to a road accident. On Sunday, Kumar's motorcycle collided head-on with a bus, leading to his untimely demise.

Kumar, a resident of Sujanpur, was traveling from Sujanpur to Bajrol when the accident occurred. The police confirmed that the bus was en route from Hamirpur via Bajrol towards Jangalberi.

Immediately after the collision, Kumar was rushed to the nearest hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival. Local villagers identified Kumar, revealing that he was an Indian Army officer home on leave. Sujanpur police have registered an accident case and are conducting a thorough investigation. Meanwhile, Captain Ranjit, the MLA of Sujanpur assembly constituency, has expressed deep grief over the unfortunate incident.
