Russia on Thursday strongly condemned the attempted coup in Bolivia and called on other countries to refrain from interfering in the country's internal affairs.

"We express our full, unwavering support for the government of President Luis Arce. We consider it unacceptable that the situation has gone beyond the constitutional framework," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
