Sanjoy Kundu, Officer-in-Charge at the Nimta police station, stated that an anti-social individual shot the victim near his residence on Saturday night. 'The injured person has been admitted to RG Kar Hospital and is currently receiving treatment. The suspect has been apprehended, and the weapon used in the crime has been recovered,' Kundu reported. He added that further investigation is ongoing, and a police force has been deployed in the region.
