Arvind Kejriwal Challenges Arrest in Excise Policy Scam

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has challenged his arrest by the CBI in the Delhi High Court. He contests the trial court's decisions which involve his remand in judicial and CBI custody related to an alleged excise policy scam.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has taken his battle to the Delhi High Court, challenging his arrest by the CBI in connection with an alleged excise policy scam.

The AAP national convenor is also contesting the trial court’s June 26 order that remanded him to three days in CBI custody.

Kejriwal was initially arrested by the CBI on June 26 while he was already in judicial custody at Tihar Jail for a related money-laundering case filed by the Enforcement Directorate. He has now been sent to judicial custody until July 12.
