In a landmark event, Rehra police station in Amroha district has become one of the first in Uttar Pradesh to lodge a case under the newly implemented Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Officials reported that the case pertains to the death of Jagpal due to electrocution, with charges of causing death by negligence filed against Rajveer alias Raju and Bhoop Singh alias Bholu following a complaint by Sanjay Singh from Dhakia village.
