Haryana Health Minister Kamal Gupta has taken strong exception to officers skipping a district grievance redressal committee meeting. On Monday, he ordered disciplinary action against the absentee officers.
Gupta directed that show-cause notices be served to the erring officers, stressing the seriousness of the matter.
The minister recommended disciplinary measures against officials from the Social Welfare, Animal Husbandry and Sports departments. Presiding over the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee meeting in Fatehabad, Gupta warned that absentee officers "will not be spared."
Gupta underscored the necessity for officers to ensure timely delivery of government welfare schemes to beneficiaries. A total of 11 complaints were addressed during the meeting, with Gupta resolving seven on the spot. He directed that the remaining complaints be settled promptly.
