The court's decision mandates that Giuliani be disbarred from practicing law with immediate effect. His name will be stricken from the roll of attorneys in New York State, pending any further court orders. At this time, Giuliani's spokesperson has not responded to requests for comment.

Giuliani’s disbarment comes after his law license was previously suspended for making false statements post-election. He had actively promoted Trump's baseless claims of widespread voter fraud, which culminated in the January 6 Capitol riot.
