Delhi HC Dismisses Plea to Debar PM Modi Over Air Crash Claims

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday dismissed an appeal to debar Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the Lok Sabha over claims of plotting a fatal air crash and anti-national activities. The court branded the allegations as figments of imagination and lacking any material evidence.

A bench of Acting Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela concurred with a prior single judge's decision, dismissing the plea as filled with “unsubstantiated, disjointed, scandalous, and preposterous allegations”.

The court questioned the appellant's mental state, suggesting he needs “medical help”. Authorities were instructed to monitor him under the Medical Health Act's provisions.
