Son of Shiv Sena Politician Admits to Driving in Fatal Mumbai BMW Crash
Mihir Shah, the son of a Shiv Sena politician, has confessed to driving a BMW car that fatally hit a woman and injured her husband in Mumbai. The police are still investigating and have yet to recover Shah’s driving license. Shah and his family had temporarily gone into hiding after the incident.

Mihir Shah, the prime accused in the Mumbai BMW hit-and-run case and son of a Shiv Sena politician, has admitted to driving the car during the crash that killed a woman and injured her husband, according to officials.
The 24-year-old, currently in police custody until July 16, claimed to possess a driving license, although the police have not yet recovered the document. Investigators have recorded statements from 14 people, including Shah's family and friends, and plan to recreate the crime scene.
Shah's father, Rajesh Shah, a Shiv Sena politician from Palghar district, is also an accused and out on bail. Mihir Shah, arrested two days after the incident, allegedly continued driving despite being aware that the woman was stuck in one of the car's tires. The crash was caught on CCTV, and the police are yet to determine the full details of the event.
