Elderly Man Killed in Tragic Road Accident in Nagpur
An elderly man, Gajanan Marotrao Kawade, was struck and killed by a speeding truck while crossing the Gorewada ring road in Nagpur city. The driver, Premkumar Ramnath Yadav, was arrested after bystanders subdued and assaulted him. The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon.

A speeding truck fatally struck an elderly man crossing a road in Nagpur city on Wednesday afternoon, according to police officials.
The victim, identified as 75-year-old Gajanan Marotrao Kawade from Katol town in Nagpur district, was killed instantly in the accident.
The truck driver, Premkumar Ramnath Yadav, 24, from Ramtek town, has been arrested. Kawade was in Nagpur for work and was crossing Gorewada ring road around 3 pm when the truck hit him, causing fatal head injuries. Bystanders detained Yadav, some reportedly assaulting him before police took him into custody and arrested him.
