Nine-Year-Old Girl Allegedly Molested, Pushed into Canal by Minors
A nine-year-old girl in Nandyala district was allegedly molested and pushed into a canal by three minor boys. Police have not yet found her body but suspect foul play. A National Disaster Response Force team is aiding in the search. Investigation is ongoing.

A nine-year-old girl was allegedly molested and pushed into a canal by three minor boys, revealed a police official on Thursday.
Nandyala district superintendent of police K Raghuveera Reddy reported that the incident occurred on Sunday while the girl was playing in a park. The boys then pushed her into the Mucchumarri Lift Irrigation canal.
“They (boys) molested and pushed her into the canal around 5 pm on Sunday. All involved were from Mucchumarri village and knew each other,” stated Reddy.
Two of the accused are 15 years old, while the third is 12, according to the official.
The girl's parents filed a missing complaint, triggering a police search that has yet to yield results. The boys are currently being interrogated by police.
A National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team arrived on Thursday to assist in locating the body.
Reddy confirmed that it cannot be determined if the girl was raped until her body is found.
