CM Yogi Adityanath Surveys Flood-Hit Areas in Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an aerial and ground survey of flood-ravaged Shravasti and Balrampur. He directed officials to expedite relief efforts, met rescued individuals, and provided aid to affected families. The floods have impacted 18 lakh people and extensive agricultural land.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas of Shravasti and Balrampur, directing officials to expedite flood relief operations.
In Shravasti's Ikauna tehsil, the CM first surveyed villages before performing a ground inspection of the Laxmanpur Kothi Rapti Barrage. He met 11 rescued individuals, including Rekha Devi and six others who relayed flood information, and awarded them cash prizes.
Adityanath also distributed cheques of Rs 4 lakh to families who lost kin in the floods. Affecting 18 lakh people across 633 villages in 12 districts, the floods have devastated over 1.45 lakh hectares of agricultural land. To aid the region, over 923 monitoring posts and 1,033 flood shelters have been established. The CM visited Lakhimpur and Pilibhit districts earlier to assess conditions.
