The Centre has formed a one-member panel to investigate the controversy surrounding probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar, sources revealed on Thursday.
An additional secretary from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) will be conducting the enquiry into the matter, according to the sources.
Khedkar faces accusations of exploiting benefits under the physical disabilities and OBC quotas to secure her position in the Indian Administrative Service. Amid allegations of bullying and entitled behaviour, she was transferred from Pune to Washim earlier this week.
On Thursday, she officially assumed the role of assistant collector at the Washim District Collectorate in the Vidarbha region.
