Shiv Sena MP Milind Deora has demanded a comprehensive and impartial investigation into the serious allegations against probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar conducted by Maharashtra Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik.

Deora emphasised that individuals lacking merit and ethics are unfit to hold important public offices, underscoring the reputational hazard these allegations pose to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

Concerns have emerged over Khedkar allegedly misusing the disability provision and OBC quota to secure her position in the elite service. The Centre has constituted a single-member committee to verify her candidature.
