In a major development, Jalandhar police have arrested Harpreet Singh, brother of radical Sikh preacher Amritpal Singh, on charges related to drug possession.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Jalandhar Rural) Ankur Gupta reported that Harpreet Singh, along with Lovepreet Singh and Sandeep Arora, were taken into custody during a special drive against drugs. The police seized four grams of methamphetamine from the suspects' vehicle.

While the investigation continues, Harpreet's family has alleged a conspiracy to malign their reputation. The case has ignited a heated debate over the drug menace in the region and the complexities surrounding influential families.
