China announced it will impose sanctions on six American military hardware firms and several senior executives over recent arms sales to Taiwan, according to the country's foreign ministry.

The sanctions, effective immediately, target companies such as Anduril Industries, Maritime Tactical Systems, Pacific Rim Defense, AEVEX Aerospace, LKD Aerospace, and Summit Technologies.

The move marks another escalation in the ongoing geopolitical tensions between China and the United States, centered around Taiwan.
