Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have seized a residential complex in Rajouri district, linked to Mehroz Azam, a notorious drug peddler, the police confirmed on Friday.
A police team from the Rajouri station attached the property in the Thudi area of Tehsil Rajouri, valuing it at approximately 20 lakhs. According to a police spokesperson, the property was acquired through illicit means derived from the narcotics trade.
The attachment was conducted under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act 1985, indicating robust enforcement actions against those involved in the illegal drug trade.
